Requesting Game Day Personnel access or Game Keys from participating schools
The host SID can use the NCAA School & Conference Manager (NSCM) to request a Game Day Personnel role from the participating schools in the neutral site games. Once the request is approved, the host SID can change their role in the Institution menu on the NSCM to the designated home school, change the scoring platform to "LiveStats" and then copy the Game Key.
Alternatively, one of the participating school's SIDs can copy the Game Key for the host SID and send it to them. With this method, the host SID will have no access to backwards compatible files such as Pack files and XMLs. The participating schools will need to log-in to the NSCM themselves to retrieve those files.
Last Resort Option: Calling or Emailing the Support Team
If the host SID is unable to get access to the neutral site games using the first two options, they should e-mail or call the NCAA LiveStats Support Team and ask for the needed Game Keys. NCAA LiveStats Support Team is available at NCAAsupport@geniussports.com or 877-542-7282.
Other Important Information
- If you are playing a true tournament format with winning teams advancing to play winning teams and losing teams playing losing teams, reach out to your NCAA Statistics office contact with the tournament schedule, and request that they set up the tournament progression in the NCAA database. This will create the correct matchups for the second day of your tournament in the NSCM.
- Please do not use the Game Key is one of the teams is listed as TBA in the NSCM. Wait until the proper team appears in the game.
