A few users have reported that they have had troubled installing NCAA LiveStats applications on a Windows 10 Education operating system.

The issue is that the Education version doesn't always automatically run all the updates and use all the required software elements (like .NET framework and C++ library) like the regular Windows 10 version does. So because it might be missing key elements and not automatically staying up to date, some users are having an install problem.

Windows needs to be updated to at least Version 1803 and preferably Version 1809, and have all the proper components (.NET framework and C++ library) present in order to install. Since the Education version doesn't do this automatically it's up to the school to get those things installed manually.

If you are experiencing this problem, please contact your campus IT department and our NCAA LiveStats Support Team at NCAAsupport@geniussports.com. We will attempt to assist your IT department to get them the technical info they need. Run all possible Windows updates and check for all required software elements. There's not a fix we can make to the software, because it requires elements that are missing from the local machine.
