If you would like to use spend some time practicing with NCAA LiveStats for Soccer, here's how to quickly get set up and into game entry mode.

1. Launch NCAA LiveStats for Soccer - you can download it here

2. Go to NCAA LiveStats, click on HELP --> Create Manual Training Game.

NOTE:  You need to be in TEST mode for this to work (the menu should be orange colored).  If you are NOT in the orange test mode, go to SETTINGS--> Environment --> Test, and hit SAVE.

3. NCAA LiveStats will take you through a series of setup menus.  Most everything you need will already be in place, but you are able to change anything if you want. Click the “Save and Confirm” button to progress through the menus.

4.  Go through, play around with the software and get comfortable with how everything works!

Please note:

SUBS:

In the current version of the software, you cannot re-sub in a player who had been previously removed (FIFA rules, basically).  This will be adjusted to allow for unlimited subs in the next software release, scheduled for mid July.

POSSESSION TIME and FIELD LOCATION:

One of the new features of NCAA LiveStats for Soccer is the ability to track possession time and field location percentage.

Once the game starts, you will see four zones set up on the field. Throughout the game, do your best to indicate which team has the ball, and which zone they are in. The more accurate you are with your clicking, the better your stats will be.

When ball possession changes, you can either click the appropriate Possession button, or use the TAB key to toggle between the teams.

With regards to ball possession - assume that the team currently with possession retains possession until the other team clearly has control of the ball.
